Normally, this would not be possible, with so many people in the area. But now that this massive campus is basically a ghost town, I thought that it would be interesting to get photos and video capturing this unique perspective.
We had perfect weather this weekend and I decided that it was time to make this happen.
As you can see from this first image, the Apple headquarters (which people have knick-named the "Spaceship") is absolutely massive! But I will get to that a little later. Before I do that, I wanted to show you some images I captured back in 2015 and 2016 as they were building this structure.
This was 5 years ago when this was a giant construction zone.
In 2016, I went back with my Phantom 3 drone and captured these images of the building midway through construction.
And as I mentioned, this weekend was the perfect time to take photos and videos of Apple Park. I flew the Phantom 4 around the campus for at least 20 minutes and had a great time collecting really exciting video.
I got home and started going through the video clips to build a short film of what I had seen. As I was putting together the different clips in Adobe Premier Pro, I realized that it would be really cool to go back through the old footage to combine those into this short piece. I also researched some of the amazing facts about this campus and added those to the film.
I hope that you take a look at the new video and be awe inspired for yourself. This is like no other building you have ever seen.
