It has been an amazing year, starting with the winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, with two African safaris and a trip to the rain forest of Costa Rica in the middle of the year, and ending with a trip to Hawaii.

I have compiled all of my favorite photos in this 4 minute video. I hope you enjoy it!

Another full year of photography - My 2016 year end slideshow

It is hard to believe that yet another year has come and gone. Back in 2011, I started the tradition of doing a year end slideshow to highlight my favorite images from the last 12 months.

This is always a fun thing for me to do, since it gives me a chance to look back and appreciate the people, places and experiences from the year. It also provides me the opportunity to share my favorites with all of you.

2016 started with our photo tour on safari in Tanzania, which provided a bunch of really cool images of the wildlife in Africa. And, of course, it was an Olympic year, so there are a plethora of photos from the Games in Rio. All of that, with a lot of great photo moments in between. And I am really happy to have all these put together in a short ProShow video for all of you. (BTW - if you want to use ProShow for yourself, you can use the code "JEFF20" to get 20% off).

I look forward to 2017 with photo tours to Africa, Cuba, New York, Australia, Uganda, Alaska and Japan. Happy New Year Everyone!

As 2015 comes to a close, I look back at all the interactions I have had with so many of you over the last year and I am so thankful to share the photography passion with all of you. And when I say "share" and I mean a two way path of communication.

I am equally inspired by all the other photographers out there, regardless of whether you are a professional or just someone who loves taking and sharing your photos.

As I do every year, I have posted my "Best of" video looking back at the year.

More importantly, I am VERY excited about the coming year. 2016 will include big trips to Africa (less than two weeks away) and Rio for the Summer Olympics.

Wow - hard to believe that it is 2015 already! Where is the time going?

As I do at the end of each year, I go through all my photos and pick some of my favorites to put together a slideshow. This year, my good friends at Photodex helped me put together my compilation of some of my favorite photos from 2014.
