Canons announces a new SUPERZOOM lens!

Finally, after waiting years for the ultimate zoom lens for my Canon cameras. The "big beast" was announced this morning, but will not be available for another month or so. It is a 28-2000mm f/4 lens that will be perfect for sports and wildlife photography!

This lens must have been under development for many years since it is being released in an EF version and will need the EF to RF adaptor for any of the new lenses. Regardless, this is a very exciting announcement! The price has not been released yet, but I am hoping that it will be under $4000.  I had a chance to use this lens over the last 2 weeks and it was pretty incredible. The images looked super sharp all the way from 35mm to 1800mm and a little soft above 1800mm. More information to come when I get a chance to use a production version of this lens!

Stay tuned and remember what day this is! 😂
