Guess who just got full credentials to the 2012 London Olympics?

Since the day after returning from the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, I have been working with numerous groups to see if I could secure one of the few photo credentials to the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Well...after a lot of work and a lot of waiting, I heard from the U.S. Olympic Committee yesterday and I received the top level credential. Some call this credential "The Golden Ticket" because it gives you virtually unlimited access at the games. I can shoot every event, from the best position. With just over 50 of these in the entire country (including Sports Illustrated and all the large newspapers and magazines) it really is a photographer's dream. Even though this will be my third Olympic Games, I still consider this to be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

So...make sure to subscribe to the blog to see the events that lead up to the Olympics and then daily posts from London, starting in late July.
