A very RARE chance to photograph from the top of the Golden Gate Bridge!!!

Sorry everyone - due to legal reasons, I had to remove the images from the blog. I guess you will just have to trust me that the experience was epic!

What a treat to be able to shoot from that vantage point! I'm not afraid of heights either, but am afraid of falling from those heights. That said, I absolutely would have been all over the place shooting as well, with maybe the exception of shooting straight down - from the edge like you did. Yeah, those pics did make my palms a little sweaty. But they are still incredible images. Loved the Cable on a cable, too. Very clever.

WOW JEFF! That was amazing! How is it you were allowed up there? I want to go! Can you put in a request or must you know someone? Nice shots. Were you shaking? It doesn't look like you were cabled (ahem) in or latched to anything.

Have you considered that while you're up there, this might be just the time Godzilla decides to wake up? Huh?!

Nice pictures, indeed! Thanks for sharing them.

AWESOME photos Jeff! Maybe you weren't shaking but I sure was! Especially the shots where you were looking straight down. I hope to photograph the Golden Gate Bridge one day but from a lower perspective. LOL!! I always look forward to your blogs. Thanks for continually sharing.

That is super cool Jeff!! I love going for atmospheric shots like these. Me and Billy used to love photographing the Golden Gate Bridge on foggy mornings. Every time we were in SF, we would make an effort to see the bridge.

What an amazing opportunity to shoot from a rare perspective sought after by so many photographers. Wonderful commentary and photographs as always.

These are super awesome! It is especially neat to me as I made my first trip ever to San Francisco about a month ago. How does one get on a waiting list to go to the top of the Golden Gate Bridge? lol

Being terrified of heights, I can truly appreciate someone brave enough to do this! I have driven over this bridge many times and loved looking "up" but I couldn't possibly look "down". Your work is incredible and I thank you for giving us this perspective of this wonderful bridge. These photos are amazing!

What are the legalities that forced you to remove the images from your blog? :(

Mike Klubok said...

With the legalities, it almost appears that the big thrill is you got to the top of the Golden Gate Bridge and got some great pics to add to all of your other great ones.
